Do:

1. Change your password frequently.
2. Use different passwords for all accounts.
3. Use numbers and symbols in your password.
4. Use a totally random phrase or a combination of words that one could not guess.

Don't:

1. Write your password on a sticky note and attach it to the monitor, mousepad or keyboard.
2. Give your password out to your friends, family, or co-workers.
3. Use the same password over and over again.
4. Use your first and last name as the password.
5. Use the word "password" as the password.
6. Use any combination of your username, family name, husband's, pet's, address, or SSN as the password.
